This premium heritage style chicken is raised on pasture outside of Golden, BC with high-quality supplemental feed. These chickens are processed by a provincially licensed abattoir.
At $7/lb, these half chickens will cost between $18-23. Their comparatively slow growth makes for a succulent and flavourful meat. These are big chickens compared to your typical 3lbs grocery store bird and have proportionately more meat. A half has around the same amount of chicken as a full, small grocery store bird.
